Ran for the Republican candidacy to represent New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District in 2020. Looking to keep America great for all Americans!
For years, New Jersey has been decidedly run by the Democratic Party – a party that we’ve seen interfere in our President’s initiatives, denying the American People a country that will stay Great for years to come. We need responsible, conservative seats in Congress who will work with our Senate and President Trump to increase the viability of our state’s economy, just as the President has done for the nation.
Protecting the Second Amendment
It is written in our Constitution that Americans have the freedom and right to bear arms without government infringement. If elected to Congress, I vow to protect this American right as decided by our Founding Fathers so that Americans will always have the ability to protect their homes and families.
At the same time, in order to ensure responsible gun ownership, we need to perform better background checks to keep guns out of the hands of those who are unfit to carry and away from organized crime. Guns can save lives, but in the hands of the wrong person they lead to great danger.
Term Limits in Congress
It’s important to have proper term limits for members in Congress. I believe that a person should hold their position in Congress for no more than 2 terms. We need to allow other capable individuals to take seats in Congress so we can best represent the American people and allow for a balanced government.
Year after year, New Jersey receives less federal tax relief while our state taxes increase. Living in a high tax, high cost state is not easy and makes it difficult for our state’s families to get by. I believe in going to Washington and bringing our federal tax dollars back home. I will work on legislation that will make our tax dollars available for essential social and governmental projects, as well as the needs of non-government organizations and religious and community groups.
Supporting Businesses
As a business owner myself, I understand how important small businesses are to our nation’s economy and how taxes get in the way of allowing our businesses to thrive. I will make sure that tax laws are favorable to small businesses in order to reinvigorate our economy.
Restoring the SALT Deduction
New Jersey residents are very concerned about the repeal of the State and Local Tax deduction (SALT). We need to restore SALT so that New Jersey can receive the tax relief that our state deserves.
As a licensed medical doctor, I have worked with insurance in the medical field all throughout my career. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has failed to alleviate any of the problems that I have personally seen as a practicing doctor.
Quality Healthcare
For over 30 years of specializing in Ophthalmology and Internal Medicine, I’ve come to see too many people who simply could not afford something as basic as an eye exam because they were without insurance coverage. I took it upon myself to help where I could and began providing pro bono eye exams to those in need.
If elected, I want to work on legislation that will allow for a more streamlined medical insurance program, which would be adopted on our national insurance model, Medicaid. Everyone deserves quality, affordable healthcare. Medicaid for all low-income families would help millions of working class Americans, provide relief to small businesses, and give peace of mind to New Jersey families.
Therefore, I am in full support of the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act so that health care providers will save the lives of babies who survive an attempted abortion.
Planned Parenthood should not receive a single tax-payer’s dollar in order to abort innocent babies. Life begins at conception and Congress needs leaders who will make decisions to protect Amercan’s lives at every stage, whether that be in the womb, during old age, or those who simply require better healthcare.
One of the strong factors impacting the opioid epidemic comes from our borders. It is of great importance to me to secure our nation’s borders so the illegal drug supply coming in from other countries will stop poisoning our nation’s people and allow Americans to live healthy and strong lives.
The climate of our world is always changing and it is the responsibility of the government to respond well to crises. We need to properly balance our nation’s budget so we have the resources necessary for foreign aid, humanitarian efforts and emergencies such as our current pandemic. At all times, it’s important that the American people are supported.
We now have a globalized economy with immigration laws that haven’t been changed since 1964. As an immigrant, I came into this great country with my family legally and worked my way up to reach the American Dream. Diversity is what makes our country great, but we need to ensure the safety of our citizens.

As an immigrant, I came into this great country with my family legally and worked my way up to reach the American Dream. Diversity is what makes our country great, but we need to ensure the safety of our citizens. With a seat in Congress, I support reforming our outdated immigration laws, tightening border security, and working on Merit-Based immigration to ensure that those who do come in are contributing well to our country.
The security of the American people is a top priority. I believe in fully supporting the Department of Defense to ensure that our military and intelligence agencies have the resources necessary to protect our country and remain a top force on a global scale.
I am in full support of President Trump’s decision to thwart the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanction) Movement against Israel in his efforts to stop anti-semitism and terrorist financing. We need to show unwavering support for Israel, one of our nation’s greatest allies
We must protect the United States from any country who may become hostile through possessing a weapon of mass destruction. If elected to Congress, I will work with President Trump to put an end to North Korean aggression and stop the country from becoming a nuclear power.
Terrorists have to be dealt with caution, along with our allies, to decide if a real and certain threat is upon us. If a true threat is identified, we must respond with the military force necessary to protect our people. It is my mission to put a stop to radical Islamic terrorism and protect our country.

Education
I’ve worked tirelessly alongside Gov. Corzine in support of legislation that allows students with disabilities and children from low-income families to use state funds for educational expenses that would better suit their needs — whether this is towards public school, private school, charter school, home school or any other learning environment. Parents should be able to choose education for their children that best fits their needs.
New Jerseyans in particular are hard-working Americans who deserve better roads, bridges, and highways to continue contributing well to our economy. As a productive state in itself and as a vital hub to other major cities, commuting and transportation in New Jersey is important for the safety and convenience of our citizens and to help fuel our nation’s economy. I intend to invest properly in the quality of our state’s infrastructure to keep our state running well.
In line with President Trump’s views, our trade policy must always put America First and agree well with our national security plans. We also need to continue to look at outdated trade agreements and make creating more U.S. jobs a priority. Now more than ever, we can’t let U.S. jobs go to other countries and need to focus on reinvigorating our nation’s economy.
It is imperative that our children have a world in which they can start and raise their own families. In order for that to be possible, we must continue in our efforts to preserve the world we all share. Emissions have fallen greatly since the 1980s and continue to do so under the Trump administration. As your Congressman, I will vote to continue improving the environment for future generations while prioritizing businesses and the economy.
